Fetal intestinal perforation causes a sterile inflammatory reaction of the peritoneum called meconium peritonitis. Fetal ascites. Intra-abdominal calcifications and hydramnios were detected by prenatal ultrasonography. We report a case of
meconium
peritonitis associated with ileal atresia that was diagnosed ultrasonographically at 37 weeks of pregnancy with a brief review of the literatures.
